Digi-Hub
Enterprise & Digital Hub
Omagh Enterprise Company Limited has been awarded funding through the Levelling Up Fund to refurbish the former Omagh Health Centre, Mountjoy Road, Omagh to an Enterprise & Innovation Digi-Hub. The project will be delivered in partnership with the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and Fermanagh & Omagh Council.
The development of the Enterprise & Innovation Digi-Hub will comprise 50 work units over two floors. It will be designed to provide purpose built, technology focused business environments, suitable for attracting high value companies and supporting the start-up and growth of indigenous businesses in Omagh town centre. It will accommodate 50 tenants businesses creating 250 jobs.
The site is located in Omagh town centre adjacent to the Lisanelly Neighbourhood Renewal Area, the South West College Campus and the Strule Shared Education Campus. Given the high vacant site rates in Omagh, lack of investment in the West and location adjacent to Lisanelly, the proposed Enterprise & Innovation Digi-Hub will play a significant role to regenerate the town centre, increase high street foot fall and trigger future private sector investment to address other derelict sites in that area of the town
