DARD & HMRC to host Omagh Roadshow to help farmers get online
Farmers are encouraged to fill in registrations and payment applications online
Farmers are now being encouraged to fill in their animal registrations and Single Farm Payment applications online. They will also soon be required to do VAT returns online.
Awareness events
Due to this, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), have put together several awareness events with the Ulster Farmers’ Union to:
- highlight benefitsof online business with the government
- allow farmers to sign up for online services
- help farmers understand what they need to do to get online

Events will take place at the following dates and locations from 18.30 to 21.30:
- Tuesday 28 February –Greenmount Campus Cafre, Antrim
- Thursday 1 March –Enniskillen Campus Cafre, Fermanagh
- Tuesday 6 March –Comber Learning Centre, Newtownards
- Thursday 8 March –Community Resource Centre, Ballymoney
- Tuesday 13 March –Whitegate Community Centre, Newry
- Thursday 15 March –Omagh Enterprise Centre, Omagh
- Tuesday 20 March –Benedy Community Centre, Dungiven
- Thursday 22 March –Markethill Old Courtrooms, Markethill
- Tuesday 27 March –North West Regional College, Strabane
- Thursday 29 March – Loughry Campus, Cookstown
