Free Equality Update Events for Employers
Equality updates for public and private sector employers will be held at locations throughout Northern Ireland
The Equality Commission is holding some free equality update events for public and private sector employers at locations throughout Northern Ireland.
Topics covered will include:
- a summary of key equality issues affecting Northern Ireland
- an equality update summarising key legal cases of the past year and predicted equality developments for 2017-18
- the changes employers will need to make in relation to their policies, practices and procedures so that they can continue to meet their obligations under the law
Event details
The dates and locations of the events are as follows:
- Monday 8 May 2017 – City Hotel, Derry~Londonderry
- Monday 15 May 2017 – La Mon Hotel, Belfast (extra places now available)
- Monday 5 June 2017 – Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh
- Monday 12 June 2017 – Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, Craigavon
All events take place from 10:00 to 14:00 and lunch is included.
The events are aimed at public and private sector employers and service providers, HR professionals, equality professionals, managers of front line services and trade union officials.
