Free workshops to help local businesses understand tax issues will be held throughout November 2011
Today’s businesses are facing tough times and the most successful know when to make use of the available help. That help is at hand for businesses during November when HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) continues to bring its programme of free workshops to Ballymena, Belfast and Craigavon.
The workshops are aimed at employers, sole traders and those in partnerships and they will range from advice for the newly self-employed to how VAT works.
The workshops planned for November 2011 are:

- 17 November 2011 – Statutory Sick Pay
- 22 November 2011 – Business expenses & capital allowances for the self-employed
- 29 November 2011 – Newly self-employed
- 30 November 2011 – Self Assessment Online
Ballymena Business Development Centre, Galgorm
- 11 November 2011 – Business expenses & capital allowances for the self-employed
HMRC Marlborough House, Craigavon
- 16 November 2011 – Becoming a director
- 17 November 2011 – How VAT works
