Funding to Help Develop Precision Medicine Technology
Apply for a share of £6 million to develop precision medicine technologies
Innovate UK will invest up to £6 million in innovation projects to support the development of precision medicine technologies.
Applications can be for:
- feasibility studies – to help companies assess the research, development and adoption issues their concept will need to address and the likelihood of success
- research and development – to help companies develop and trial precision medicine technologies
Feasibility projects can last up to 12 months and have total project costs of up to £100,000. Innovate UK will fund either single-company SME projects or collaborative projects led by an SME.
Research and experimental development projects can last up to 24 months and have total project costs of between £1 million to £2 million. Innovate UK will fund:
- projects that are led by a business, or research and technology organisation
- collaborative projects
Collaborations must include at least one other grant-claiming partner (such as an NHS organisation, another healthcare provider, a business, a Catapult or other research technology organisation, or a research base or third-sector organisation).
