Fivemiletown Firm Scott’s Bakery Secures Easter Asda Listing
Fivemiletowm firm Scott’s Bakery has secured a contract to supply Asda with three lines of seasonal cupcakes for Easter in up to 503 stores across the UK.
The family-run company already provides five core lines to the retailer throughout the year.
The new range will include packs of Fluffy Friends Cupcakes, Easter Fairy Cakes and Gluten-Free Easter Cupcakes.
Asda NI’s local buying manager Brian Conway said: “We’re committed to helping local suppliers and building long-standing partnerships with them.
“Scott’s Bakery is a real success story; its flair for innovation and delicious products has meant our partnership has gone from strength to strength.
“Always staying ahead of the curve, Scott’s Bakery capitalised on the growing gluten-free market, in February this year they launched four lines as part of our Free-From range. We are very excited about Scott’s latest Easter range and we have no doubt customers will love the Easter products.”
Scott’s Bakery product manager Elaine Hollywood added: “We are thrilled to announce our latest contract with Asda. As a family run business that began life in 1968 we can’t believe how our partnership with Asda has developed over the years.
